Brenda is a member of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate of the Enemy Swim District. She is a Jingle Dress dancer
and so in turn is a avid pow-wow attendee. Brenda specializes in beading but also creates dance regalia for
her family. She is self-taught in loom, peyote and lazy stitch beadwork. She began to bead so that her family
could have beadwork for their dance regalia.
